I completed the Sports Massage & Injury Diploma, and the Sports Equipment Diploma with the I.M.S.T. from 2006-2008
I had previously completed my prerequisite massage qualification with another school. I cannot praise this course enough.  I traveled from Co. Wicklow to Limerick on a Sunday to study in Annacotty and it was well worth it. I really researched available venues in Ireland for this qualification and the quantity of information and skills offered on this course by far outshone other schools.
 Small class numbers mean you get a lot more attention. Because the course is spread over 2 years – you really get an in-depth knowledge of injuries, instead of trying to fly through them all in one year as other schools do. To really obtain the confidence, knowledge and hands on practical work you would have to be studying injuries for two years. It’s a wide area that’s ever evolving. I will definitely be returning for refreshers and hopefully to further my qualification yet again!

The IMST is a fantastic college- the depth of knowledge that has been passed on thorough the college lecturers is excellent. I completed and qualified in Massage and Sports Therapy, Reflexology and Core Rehab Training the teaching methods are excellent- simple to understand and I didn’t feel at any stage during my years of training that I could not ask any kind of questions. The college is very forth coming with knowledge and above all it is not like a typical college where you are treated like a child because all of our classes were adults and that’s the way we were treated. I am currently working in the industry and still after 5 years I can still contact Rachel and her lecturers should I require their help. To Rachel, Thanks for giving me the chance to advance my career without you and your college I would still be doing the same boring job.
